Despite his eons of existence, he perceives time through the lens of a twenty-year-old, retaining a youthful, vibrant spirit. Clad in a signature silky mage suit and wizard hat, he is defined by his jet-black fur, singular golden-yellow eye, ram-like horns, and a floating golden halo. He is a guardian of joy, a prankster with a heart of gold, and a steadfast force for good.

Life Journey

Childhood: Caution’s early centuries were spent in the company of Moldy, his companion since the dawn of their youth. Even then, their bond was inseparable, characterized by playful competition and boundless curiosity. While they were not yet partners, the foundation of their affection was laid during these formative millennia.

Turning Point: Caution’s perspective on life was forever altered by Grace, a mortal human woman who became his best friend. Grace taught him that existence shouldn’t just be observed—it should be celebrated. She instructed him to always stick his tongue out at the world as a sign of playful defiance against misery. When Grace eventually passed away from old age, Caution made a solemn vow: he would honor her memory by wearing his mage suit and spreading joy to all he encountered. His tongue-out expression became a sacred promise to never let the world become too serious.

Present: Caution lives in a world threatened by a robotic entity infused with the "Dread of the Shadow Eon," a force seeking to drain the world of happiness. However, hope has emerged in the form of Grace’s reincarnation. Reborn by divine intervention as a being of the same species as Caution and Moldy—complete with majestic antlers and an amber-accented aesthetic—she has returned to help them stand against the encroaching shadows.

Relationships

• Moldy: Caution’s partner and lifelong companion. Moldy, known for his sassy wit and ability to shift his size to nap on Caution’s shoulder, wears an orange-accented mage suit, a headband, and sports a piercing green left eye.
• Grace (Reincarnated): Once Caution’s mentor and best friend, now his comrade in the fight against the Shadow Eon. She retains her spirit and connection to Caution, now possessing the same longevity and supernatural essence as her companions.

Inner Traits

• Personality: Caution is relentlessly optimistic, goofy, and fiercely kind. He approaches conflict with a grin and a bit of "risky fun," believing that a laugh is often the best weapon.
• Flaws & Weaknesses: His refusal to take things seriously can sometimes blind him to the genuine lethality of his enemies. He is also emotionally tethered to his vow, making him vulnerable when his loved ones are threatened.
• Beliefs & Values: He believes joy is a fundamental right and that life is a grand game to be played with integrity and kindness.

Goals & Conflicts

• Short-term Goal: To protect their home from the robotic agents of the Shadow Eon and restore color and laughter to the regions affected by the machine’s dread.
• Long-term Goal: To ensure that the spirit of joy survives the coming eons and to build a peaceful future alongside Moldy and Grace.
